FMI PROCESS exploits the thermal valorization of sludge process since June 2014. The contract has been renewed until September 2022 (8 years), then until june 2029 (6 years and 9 months).
Since 2020, more than 97% of sludge have been valorized on the FMI Process unit. The thermal energy produced is valorized by the anaerobic digester and the heating of the building to improve the biogas production.
